Old Fashioned Banana Cream Pie

Ingredients:

1 (9 inch) pie crusts, baked

3 cups whole milk

3⁄4 cup white sugar

1⁄3 cup all-purpose flour

1⁄4 teaspoon salt

3 egg yolks, slightly beaten

2 tablespoons butter

1 teaspoon vanilla

3 bananas

PREPARATION:

Have heated 9-inch pie shell prepared. In an enormous pan, singe the milk. In another pan, join the sugar, flour and salt; progressively mix in the burnt milk. Over medium intensity, blending continually, cook until thickened. Cover and, blending periodically, cook for two minutes longer. In a little bowl, have the 3 egg yolks, marginally beaten, prepared; mix a modest quantity of the hot blend into beaten yolks; when completely joined, mix yolks into hot combination. Cook briefly longer, blending continually. Eliminate from intensity and mix in the margarine and vanilla. Let sit until tepid.
