What I like most about this cake is the list of recipes. I admit I wasn’t sure how all the ingredients interacted with each other, but I’m happy to say it turned out great. I also like that my recipe calls for wine because I like to have a cup while cooking. Many people have asked me if they can substitute the wine for the water, and the answer is yes. Your cake may not turn out delicious, but it will definitely still be moist. Same goes for substituting wine in the cake coating. You lose the flavor, but you still have the same effect.
1 box of Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
1 packet instant vanilla pudding mix
2 teaspoons of cinnamon
3/4 cup of water
3/4 teaspoon of oil
1/2 cup white wine (really any kind)

Preheat oven 350 degrees.
Mixing above ingredients by hand or with mixer.
Greased powder container with grease.
Pour into mould.
Bake for 1 h.
When cake comes out of the oven…
Dissolve 1 stick of butter in 1 cup of sugar and 1/4 cup of wine.
Pour on hot cake.
Return it from the pan to the plate and serve.
