WHAT SHRIMP TO USE
When we want to make grilled prawns, I recommend that they be of great quality, some good white prawns from Huelva or some red prawns from Denia. This is because that way we take advantage of all its flavor. If these are of medium quality, they can be made into other recipes where their flavor is not so characteristic.
In this recipe to cook the prawns, I have used a little garlic and parsley since I like it a lot. The prawns were average so I didn’t care. The theme that now at Christmas, the good ones, are too expensive so I used normal ones that were quite good.
INGREDIENTS TO MAKE GRILLED PRAWNS, EASY RECIPE
300 grams of shrimp
coarse salt
Olive oil
1 clove garlic
Parsley
GRILLED PRAWNS
1.- We start by making small mashed garlic and parsley. In a mortar, crush the garlic cloves well with a little fresh parsley.
2.- On a griddle, place a base of coarse salt and a splash of olive oil.
4.- When they change color, we turn them over. We will have them for about 30 seconds on each side. This will also depend on the size of the shrimp.
5.- We take them out and accompany them with a little lemon juice (I love to suck the peel well with the lemon and salt)
