2 to 3 tbsp. unsalted butter
1/3 cup half-and-half or milk
1/2 cup granulated sugar
ALMOND GLAZE:
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp. almond extract
2 tbsp. half-and-half or about 1 tbsp. water
