3/4 cup (170 grams or 1 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature

1 cup (200 grams) lightly packed brown sugar

3/4 cup (150 grams) granulated sugar

1 teaspoon (6 grams) kosher salt

2 large eggs, room temperature

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 cups (326 grams) chocolate chips (dark, semisweet or milk chocolate)
