Cajun Style Potatoes Smothered With Shrimp and Sausage

My Cookies know that the most important element of any and every recipe to me is flavor. And I wholeheartedly believe in building flavors. You never want to rely on one aspect of a dish for flavor. It’s best to add and build it with each component. This is especially true when slow cooking. It


  • 2 pounds Russet potatoes, diced into ½ inch pieces
  • 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 onion diced
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 2 tbsp Cajun OR Creole seasoning
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • ¼ cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp of liquid Shrimp and Crab boil liquid, Garlic and Onion flavor
  • 1 pound peeled and deveined shrimp
